Length of Circuit = 2.068 miles / 3.328 km

Ayrton Senna made a sequence of wins here between 1989 and 1993. He also won it in 1987. Alain Prost won here in 1988 as well as making a sequence (shorter than Senna's) of wins between 1984 and 1986. Michael Schumacher won here in 1994, being the first person, other than Prost or Senna, to win since 1983. 

The Monaco Grand Prix has always been held here, with the first Grand Prix being in 1929. It held the second ever round of the world championship in 1950 but then it was not used until 1955.
