This track is 160 miles south of Paris but by no means an easy racetrack to conquer. Magny-Cours hosted its first Grand Prix in 1991. Mansell won it then and he won it again in 1992. Schumacher had trouble in 1996, when Hill won after Schumacher had a blown engine.

The French Grand Prix has been held at many different tracks such as Paul Ricard, Reims and Rouen. Paul Ricard was the track that killed Elio de Angelis in 1986.
