Mika Hakkinen and Jacques Villeneuve are the only the only people so far to win at the new A1 Ring as it has only been used for two seasons. The 1997 race was stunning where Trulli led in his Prost.

The Austrian Grand Prix has only been held at the A1 Ring for two seasons. Before that it was held at the superb Osterreichring and before that it was held at Zeltweg, the Grand Prix track at an airfield.
