This book is a reproduction of two A4 notebooks packed full of numbered notes and examples taken down by the author Charles Harris during his attendance at the Spanish Riding School, Vienna from1948 to 1951.
It provides a unique and absorbing record of the training he received in classic horsemanship. There is also an autobiographical account of Harris's life, from recorded transcripts, which serves to give us some insight into this remarkable man.
