Sorry - Temporarily Out Of Stock

First published in 1733 as Ecole de Cavalerie, this book must be considered as the beginning of modern equitation, and is probably the most important book on the subject ever written. But only now has the complete work - including sections on general horsemanship, equitation, veterinary treatment - been translated into English.

Although many of the remedies offered for equine illnesses have naturally been superseded, the majority of Gueriniere's teachings are still highly relevant today.

No horseman - from dressage rider to carriage driver, from farrier to historian - should ignore this truly illuminating and beautifully illustrated book.

Limited edition.

Francois Robichon de la Gueriniere.
Translated by Tracy Boucher.
11.25 x 8.75 inches. 368 pages. Profuse plates and engravings.
