German trainer Richard Hinrichs was trained by a member of the Spanish Riding School during his youth in Vienna. Today he trains, teaches, and performs with his Lippizaner and Andalusian horses demonstrating the fine art of classical horsemanship.
He explains and demonstrates his training methods which include lungeing and long-reining, suppling and collection, shoulder-in and half-pass, piaffe and passage, the Spanish walk and basic airs above the ground.
